It is Keshi Eagles ,once they get to the semi finals ,50 Drogbas will not stop them,thus Cup is for Keshi to lose,once he keeps off greed and ego,as he is been doing,he will win the finals,the semi may be with Penalty,His keeper for semi should be the home boy.

Chairman this is a good analysis,very deep.however,once Nigeria,beat Zambia by 3-1, and able to get to the Semi Final,it will be difficult to stop Nigeria.let Keshi,get a better keeper now,Vincent will not do.Nigeria time is now,not 2015, hope there will be a couple of friendly for us.

Chairman ,we can win the championship,Keshi,should talk Mikel as the new Captain now,He also need a sharp and effective Keeper,Vincent is okay but lack of activity is taking its tool.Keshi needs a commander and organizer on the field,Vincent can not do this.Yobo is very nice,but he will not be there in 2014 in Brazil.Mikel is the man now.

It's all good but I wish the governor will pay more attention to the condition of most of the classrooms in the state. These are the same classrooms that the kids will be coming back to for their studies. I was home for two months and saw the deplorable condition under which our kids have to study. There are classrooms withou widows, some without doors and some with partially collapsed roofs. Those problems will be worthy of his attention too.

Your article on Spain was spot on as I have watched their evolution during my stints in Europe and even here in the U.S
Of course,it is really difficult to distinguish Spain from Barcelona team.They play the same style,with fluidity that has eluded some Countries and clubs.

I watched in awe as Barca tore my beloved Manutd apart during the 2010 European Championship finals and at the end of that game,I took solace in the fact that the best team in the world had beaten my team.Although, Barca went through some blips this past season but I have told some of my friends that they will bounce back just as my beloved Manutd will bounce back after loosing the Premiership to our noisy neighbours on goals difference.That was a bitter pill to swallow but that is the name of the game.Talking about Spain,it will take Countries some time to figure out a way to beat Spain except if they can master the technique Chelsea employed to shut out Barca.It was boring to watch but that might be the only way to beat Spain.

Uncle Sege, I think you have highlighted only one aspect of the nature of the football that Spain seems to be playing. The aspect that you have left out that begs a question is the enrgy part. How are they managing their energy-bank to be able to do the kind of thing they did against Italy whereby they choked every build up even in Italy's defensive third for the most part of the game? Each time an Italian touched the ball, there were at least three spanish players around him. Balotelli was so choked he problably got 3 ball in the attacking third! I guess if that part is figured out and can be taught to other teams it is easy to neutralize their so-called 'Total football.

Nonetheless, we cannot minimize the superior individual skills od the spaniards. otherwise, a zone defense should have slowed that attack down some.

You are right and I hope people can understand why you have been clamoring for such a priceless cause.
There are big Basketball and American football players here in the U.S that made millions during their hey days but are bankrupt today simply because they have no education.They squandered their wealth and are depressed.
I believe many people around the world remember Allen Iverson(one of the shortest basketball players at 5"9)He made millions and signed big contracts with Reebok but,everything is gone today.
Another example is Terrel Owens a.k.a T.O he played for San Francisco 49ers,earned millions,got a reality TV show and today,he is broke.
These are just few examples.Education is the key and that's why I respect Seyi Olofinjana a lot.
Seyi was pursuing his Master's degree while playing in England.
Way to go!!!!!!!!!

Rashidi Yekini's case is an enigma. It is a case that will be difficult to investigate and prosecute by the Nigerian police. To begin with, the influences of Nigerian cultural, ancestral, and Islamic orientations on our individual and collective behavior and actions cannot be totally ignored. In the western and eastern cultures and education, the pursuit of justice and the application of constitutional law are integral and essential to the survival of the society. Yekini's case is complex. Many mistakes have been made. There was a gross neglect of his welfare by all those who knew and benefitted from him. Nigerian society is not ready to rise up to his moral and ethical consciousness. In Nigeria, the nexus between western and African/Islamic values has not been clearly articulated and accepted in many villages in northern Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa. The people that visited the Ora village residence of the Yekinis to condole the family know too well what they are doing, and they know what they preserving or afraid of. Only those individuals involved can tell why they acted the way they did. A timely investigation may reveal and answer questions that may be left out and it may shed light into Yekini's death. Beyond the cultural, religious, and family aspirations, we need to begin again to put in place the infrastructures that would check and balance the wrongs that individuals (official or unofficial) make in the name of religion, culture, and class on innocent or vulnerable individuals. The focus now should be on improving the circumstances that led to his Yekini’s death. What is the role of football, clubs, football associations and the NFF, the state and federal governments, and star athletes in improving the welfare of athletes that have consistently represented the country? It is time for change!

Wow Uncle Sege i never knew you played for Housing.Neither did i know about Muda,Awesu as well...to think only 2YEARS later you guys won the African Cup of winners,amazing feat! It was a big mistake to enter both IICC and RANGERS in the cup winners cup the following year...1 of the teams should have played in the Champions cup and im sure they would have won it! RIP RASHEED YEKINI and JOE APPIAH
